34 Cadets Selected in NDA SSB Honored at Prince
Each awarded a cash prize of ₹31,000 and an award kit.
A grand annual function and talent felicitation ceremony, titled 'Crescendo,' was organized at the Prince NDA Academy and Prince Sainik School. On this occasion, 34 students who were recently selected in the NDA SSB (Services Selection Board) were honored. Notably, 15 of these selected students achieved this success while still pursuing their Class 12 studies.
During the program, Prince Eduhub Director Jogendra Sunda, Chairman Dr. Piyush Sunda, Chief Managing Director Rajesh Dhillon, Managing Director Brigadier B.B. Janu, Brigadier H.S. Pilkhwal, Brigadier Jai Singh, Brigadier Rajkumar Balwada, Academic Head Pawan Kumawat, and management members Shippi Sunda and Nirupam Sunda, among others, honored each selected student—along with their parents—by garlanding them, adorning them with traditional turbans (*Safas*), and presenting them with a cash prize of ₹31,000, a laptop bag, a certificate of appreciation, and a memento. During the ceremony, the selected cadets and their parents also shared their experiences regarding their journey to success alongside Prince.
Additionally, cultural performances based on various themes and messages were presented by the students of the Prince NDA Academy and Sainik School during the event.
Over the past year, 58 cadets from the Prince NDA Academy have been finally selected in SSB interviews for the NDA, TES (Technical Entry Scheme), CDS (Combined Defence Services), and similar entries; cumulatively, 147 cadets have achieved this distinction over the last four years. At Prince, students ranging from Class 6 to Class 12, as well as Class 12 graduates, are groomed for highly prestigious competitive examinations—such as those for the Defence and Civil Services—by a dedicated team of 11 Defence Officers holding the ranks of Brigadier and Colonel. Chairman Dr. Piyush Sunda stated that the continuous, successive selections from Prince in high-level examinations such as the NDA and SSB are a direct result of the comprehensive approach adopted here—which encompasses preparation for written examinations and interviews guided by an expert team of NDA, UPSC, and SSB specialists, alongside the holistic personality development of students through various on-campus activities and sports.
